Death Enters the Saloon | Morte nel saloon

🇬🇧 Death Enters the Saloon is a weird Western role-playing filler about guilt, judgement and fear of Death.

Players: 3-5.
Duration: 40-70 minutes.
Needed: a deck of poker cards.

A mysterious figure has entered the saloon. No one knows them, although they seem familiar to everyone. When they sit with their back to the bar and begin to scrutinise you patrons, however, no one has any doubt anymore: they are Death, come to claim one of you. You know you can’t escape them but, out of desperation, you start a devious game: asking questions of the other patrons, to bring up their murky pasts, in the hope that Death will choose someone else, anyone other than you, inside this cursed saloon.

We call it a “role-playing filler” because it is a fusion of a role-playing game, a prompt game and a party game. It lasts roughly a little less than an hour so, in the world of role-playing games, it is comparable to a filler.

Una figura misteriosa è entrata nel saloon. Nessuno la conosce, anche se a tutti sembra familiare. Quando si siede con le spalle al bancone e comincia a scrutare voi avventori, però, nessuno ha più alcun dubbio: è la Morte, venuta a reclamare uno di voi.

Sapete di non poterle sfuggire ma, per disperazione, iniziate un subdolo gioco: fare domande agli altri avventori, per far venire a galla il loro torbido passato, nella speranza che la Morte scelga qualcun altro, chiunque altro, che non siate voi, all’interno di questo maledetto saloon.

Lo chiamiamo “filler di ruolo” perché è una fusione tra un gioco di ruolo, un gioco di spunti e un party game. Dura all’incirca poco meno di un’ora per cui, nel mondo dei giochi di ruolo, è paragonabile a un filler.
